At the Oak Meadow Federation, which includes both Brampton Abbotts and Bristow Primary Schools, we’re proud to jointly own two seventeen-seater minibuses that play a vital role in our daily school life.
Every morning and afternoon, our minibuses help children from across the Ross-on-Wye area get to and from school safely and comfortably. This service supports our families and ensures that every child has access to a high-quality education, no matter where they live locally.
But the minibuses are much more than just transport—they’re a gateway to exciting learning experiences beyond the classroom. By having our own vehicles, we’re able to take children on regular, purposeful trips that enrich the curriculum and bring learning to life. Whether it’s exploring local woodlands, visiting museums, engaging with community projects, or attending sporting events, our minibuses make it all possible in a cost-effective and flexible way.
This means more opportunities for every class, more connections with our local area, and more memorable moments for our pupils.
We believe that learning should be active, engaging, and rooted in the real world—and our minibuses help us deliver just that.
